My Story
I created Butterfly’s Journey as a way to turn my pain into purpose
and give other women the space I never had.
For years, I struggled with self-doubt, silence, and the fear of failing. I carried so much inside
my trauma, my responsibilities, my love for my family while trying to survive and be strong for everyone else.
I didn’t feel seen. I didn’t feel heard. And I didn’t know how to choose me.
But one day, I realized something powerful:
healing begins when you stop shrinking and start showing up for yourself.
I took a leap of faith.
I shared my story.
I stepped into my purpose.
That’s how Butterfly’s Journey was born
from the courage to transform, from the desire to heal, and from the belief that BIPOC ASL women deserve spaces
to be understood in our language, our culture, and our truth.
Today, my mission is to create those safe spaces through community,
storytelling, retreats, workshops, and healing connections. I want women to know:
You are not alone.
Your voice matters.
Your healing matters.
And you are worthy of becoming everything you dreamed of.
